Holiday Events at the Cheshire
You are cordially invited to “A Cheshire Christmas” where you can enjoy a cozy holiday by the fireplace with a themed cocktail from the Fox & Hounds.
Book a special night in an exclusive Decorated Suites with themed Christmas décor, including the Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Novelty Suite, the "Christmas Tale of Peter Rabbit" Signature Suite, the "Letters from Father Christmas" Family Suite, Agatha Christie's "the Adventure of the Christmas Pudding" Novelty Suite, William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" Signature Suite, or Dylan Thomas's "A Child's Christmas in Wales" Family Suite.

Tea & Carols with Father Christmas joined by the Kingsbury Place Singers
Ho, ho, ho! Join us for a jolly good time at The Cheshire for Tea with Father Christmas. We are Decking the Halls at The Cheshire including some of our Suites, so you are cordially invited to come visit with Santa and enjoiy some Christmas Carols. We'll have plenty of Tea, Coffee, Hot Cocoa, and Spiced Cider along with cookies, cakes, and other yummy holiday treats. This festive event will take place in the lobby at The Cheshire and will be free and open to everyone. *Donations will be accepted for the KIngsbury Place Singers who support local children's charities.

Join us for a special reading of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" in the Lobby at the Cheshire. "Marley was dead to begin with..." Grab a cocktail at the Fox & Hounds or a cup of Hot Cocoa and curl up by the fire as John Wolbers reads Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale of redemption, "A Christmas Carol." This event is free and open to everyone.

Join us for a festive evening of Caroling with the Black Tulip Chorale in the Lobby at The Cheshire. Grab a special themed cocktail from the Fox & Hounds and find a cozy spot by the fireplace to enjoy a selection of Christmas carols by the Black Tulip Chorale. We are proud to have them join The Cheshire this year to celebrate the holidays with glee. This event is free and open to everyone, but donations for choir will be accepted.

Christmas Chamber Music with the Gateway Guitar Quartet
Join the Gateway Guitar Quartet at The Cheshire for an evening of Holiday favorites. Grab a special themed cocktail from the Fox & Hounds or a Spiced Apple Cider from our Hot Beverage Bar and get cozy by the fire while the Quartet plays a selection of your favorite Christmas music. This event is free and open to everyone. Copies of their new CD will be available for purchase.

The Spirits of Christmas Cocktail Hour
Grab your friends and join us at the Fox & Hounds for a jolly ol’ time with St. Nick. Grab a special themed cocktail or mocktail and toast the Spirit of Christmas with your favorite bartenders and Santa Claus, Charles Dickens, and maybe some other Christmas Spirits too. This event is free and open to everyone.

"But Soft, what light through yonder window breaks?” Oh, it’s just the Christmas Lights at The Cheshire. Join us for a festive evening of Caroling with the Revelers’ Guild from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the Lobby at The Cheshire. Grab a mug of Wassail or a themed Cocktail from the Fox & Hounds and find a cozy spot by the fireplace to enjoy a selection of Tudor and Victorian era Christmas Carols and sing along with other traditional holiday classics. This event is free and open to everyone, but tips will be accepted.

Sing-Along with Santa joined by the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association Volunteers
Join Santa and local Volunteer Carolers from the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association for a joyful evening of Caroling in the Lobby at The Cheshire. Grab a special themed cocktail from the Fox & Hounds, find a cozy spot by the fireplace, and have fun with Santa to close out our Cheshire Christmas Events. This event is free and open to everyone, but the Carolers will accept donations to benefit local children’s charities.
